How do I get started with Lemura?

Simply register for a free account to start using Lemura. You’ll receive a limited quota of conversions per week. To unlock full features and access to premium voices, consider upgrading to one of our paid plans — Basic, Premium, or Business.

Will my subscription auto-renew?

Currently, subscriptions do not auto-renew. You’ll need to manually purchase a new plan once the current one expires.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Since we do not offer automatic renewals, your plan will automatically expire after its validity period. Therefore, no cancellation is required.

Are text characters counted per conversion or download?

We count characters every time you hit the “Convert to Speech” button, not when you download the audio.

How are Chinese, Japanese, or Korean characters counted?

Each character in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is counted as two characters.

How much audio can I generate with 500,000 text characters?

Approximately 12 to 13 hours of text-to-speech audio can be generated with 500,000 characters.

Can I upgrade my plan from Basic to Premium or Business?

Yes. If you upgrade within 48 hours and have used less than 10,000 characters, we will deduct the cost of your previous plan and apply it as a discount toward the new one.

What technologies power Lemura's text-to-speech engine?

Lemura uses cutting-edge AI voice synthesis models like XTTS2, FastSpeech2, and other neural network architectures, integrated with our proprietary voice engines. Our Pro+ voices are powered by ElevenLabs, known for ultra-realistic audio quality.

Do you offer unlimited TTS conversions?

No, true unlimited usage is not possible due to the high computational cost of generating AI voiceovers. We offer generous monthly limits and custom plans for heavy users or enterprises.

What should I do if my plan expires?

Just go to the Subscription page in your account dashboard and purchase a new plan to continue using the service.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 5 days of purchase and before using more than 10,000 characters to request a refund — no questions asked.

Who owns the audio created using Lemura?

If you are on a paid plan, you retain full commercial rights and copyright ownership of all audio generated on Lemura.

Can I use Lemura voices for YouTube videos?

Absolutely! Lemura voiceovers can be used for YouTube videos and other content monetization platforms.

What languages are supported?

Lemura supports 130+ languages, including English (US, UK, AU, IN), Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and many more.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club cards. For Indian users, we support UPI, GPay, PhonePe, PayPal, and RazorPay.

Can I request a custom enterprise plan?
